I knew about Lost-cellphone.com, I knew someone who was actually
unfortunate enough to lose theirs. My best friend Kate had just
gotten her new htc Android for her birthday. She’d begged and begged
her boyfriend to buy her one and to everyone’s surprise, he did!
She was really excited. She even offered to sell me her iPhone for
a low price because she would no longer need it with her cool new
Adroid. I guess it just wasn’t in the cards for her to have one
of these great phones because only two months after she received
it, it was lost and never recovered. We had gone to the zoo and
just after visiting the giraffe exhibit, we’d decided to grab a
bite to eat. We ate at the zoo restaurant and while we were there,
her mom called to remind her she needed to come feed their dog while
they were away on a trip. She must have left the phone on our table
at the restaurant because this was the last time either of us had
seen it. Next thing we knew, it was three hours later and she began
wondering why she hadn’t heard from her boyfriend yet. She checked
her purse, and her new cell phone was missing. We tried calling
it over and over again but we couldn’t reach it. I called the restaurant
and they told us they hadn’t found any cell phones. They suggested
she call back that week in case someone came across it, but she
